The area above the ground floor simultaneously represents the foyer, access and resting area. Partly shaded by a membrane on the 12th floor, the outer space virtually flows through the building. Its two ends are emphasized through the “moon lake”, a floating disc of water, and the “abstract mountain”, a calotte of layered slate tiles. The two elements are thus engaged in a dialogue between the contrasting “liquid office” and “abstract nature”. Fiberglass bowls in organic forms, which provide water-cooling, seating and pots for plants appear to float through the hybrid inner and outer space.
