The design by Schneider+Schumacher came out on top and was awarded first prize. The client is the city of Schwetzingen in cooperation with the state of Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg and the Federal Real Estate Agency (BImA).<\/p>\n<p>The site will be used for offices, services, production and craft workshops. Existing buildings are to be integrated and further developed &#8211; an old armoured garage can be turned into a leisure centre. A start-up and innovation centre can provide important impetus in the industrial estate.<\/p>\n<p>The flexibility of the building structure also creates a wide range of possible uses for as yet unknown challenges.
