Water becomes building ground!
Areas within flood danger areas and high groundwater are used as building grounds. Therefore new prototypes of housing are developed to demonstrate the possibilities of building within water landscapes.
The buildings of the IBA Waterhouses are located in a newly regenerated water canal, completely surrounded by water. The only way of reaching the entrances is via a raised walkway.
